Hello !
planning a trip in April 2023. We will be spending 4 days in Piano di Sorrento (town near Sorrento) at the end of our trip and plan to book our home bound flight leaving from Napoli airport. Any advice for getting to the airport from Piano di Sorrento ?

If your final destination is North America, it is almost certain that your NAP flight will be very very early in the morning to some European gateway. The only exception might be if you fly United, which has a seasonal non-stop flight from NAP to Newark (EWR), currently departing at 9:55am.
In any case, you will need to be at the airport super early, and from Piano di Sorrento the only viable option is a private car service (a limo service).
If you prefer to sleep a bit longer, you might opt to spend the last night in Naples. The city center of Naples is very close to the airport and the 15 min taxi ride costs only about 20€.

Thanks for your replies! I forgot to mention that we are planning to book a flight departing at 1 pm from Napoli airport.

Since you have a late flight, you could use the Curreri Viaggi bus. Cost is €10 p/p.
