My husband and I will be in Italy for the Sicily tour. We will be staying in Sorrento prior to the tour. Any suggestions to preferable flights with reasonable departure time (nothing earlier than 7am).

Skyscanner is a good resource for checking European carriers. Some flights are seasonal.

Had a change in mode of transport. We will be going on the train from Naples to Palermo. Still looking at flights from Catania to Rome.

Skyscanner is my choice also, using exact dates. One handy option is searching flights from and airport to "everywhere,: or from country to country. Train time Naples to Palermo is 9.5 hours. A few weeks ago we flew NAP to PMO on Volotea.
