Hello
We will be in the Tuscany Region for all of October and then making our way to Rome after that for 3 nights and fly home out of FCO.
I am looking for suggestions for a place to stay that is reasonable and was well liked.
Most likely use a taxi for our 11:30am flight out so we do not necessarily need to be “too” close to the airport.
Maybe better to be closer to a couple of recommended sights?
Not completely firmed up but most likely we will use train transportation into Rome coming from Cortona.

Stay anywhere in the historic center
It is a fixed rate taxi to airport 50 euros
Takes maybe 40 min to airport
We prefer to be near the Pantheon
