Flying Air Dolomiti FLH to MUC connecting to UA back to US

Will we be required to have negative covid test results to fly from Florence to Munich? Will we clear any customs and immigration in Munich that will require bags to be presented, or will they be checked through to Dulles for US Customs and immigration upon entry to the US? Are rapid anibody tests accepted by both Air Dolomiti and United?

Covid test required only for US bound flights. Rapid tests are accepted.
Bags are checked in at FLR and you won't see them again till you land at IAD. No bags to worry in MUC.
You will need to go through passport control in MUC, before you board to your US bound flight.
MUC is the easiest airport to connect in Europe, so don't fret over it.

To clarify
You need the negative test to fly to US
So you will need to get in Florence ONE day before your departure

The test must be proctored or taken at a pharmacy lab

It can’t just be any self test

Thank you so much for the information. We will plan to get our covid tests in Florence before flying into MUC for our connection to the US. It's nice to learn that Munich is a good place for connecting flights.
