Fly into Malpensa or Linate?

I will be flying from London to Milan in late October. Easyjet has flights to both Malpensa and Linate from Gatwick, and the tickets are priced exactly the same. Is it better to fly into one airport over the other? I know Linate is closer to Milan, so that makes it better in that sense, but what about other things?

I'll be staying close to the Milan central station, and I know that I can take a bus from Malpensa to the station, but I'm not sure if a similar option exist for Linate.

Thanks.

MXP is far from Milano Central Station. If you do choose to fly to MXP take travel time from the airport to the city into account. Look at the flight times, rather than prices, is one flight at a better time than the other? If not, I'd fly to Linate.

Linate is actually part of Milan, while Malpensa is already in the province of Varese. From Linate you can be at the train station in 20 minutes, as opposed to a good 45 minutes to an hour (depending on traffic) from Malpensa. If I were you I would fly to Linate.
