Florence with teenage boys

Looking at going to Florence for a few days with wife and teenage boys(15 and 12). They will tolerate a few museums but what else is there to do in Florence that teenage boys would enjoy?

Our slightly older teenaged granddaughters really enjoyed the cooking class at MamaFlorence that combined a guided bike ride outside of the city followed by a cooking class and lunch. They also enjoyed the Galileo Science Museum on a different day. They were happy that several Galileo sites were noted on the bike tour the previous day. Be sure to give them a generous gelato allowance for Florence.

Walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo. Good exercise and wonderful views.

Another idea is the Santo Spirito outdoor market and square. One section of the market when we were there was “Everything’s a Euro” - stuff you don’t necessarily need, but fun to walk through and look.

take the train to lucca & pisa, it will be a long day, just got out of the hustle & bustle.
