We're headed to Italy in 2 weeks, starting with Florence. We have many great tours booked but are looking for a walking tour/guide (either private or small group). Any suggestions? Thank you!

Hi there..I have used Maria 2x now when I have been to Florence and loved her tours. Do not be put off by the word shopping..Maria can put together anything. I used her just for myself and then when I took my niece. We toured everywhere and tasted food and saw backdoor areas I could not have discovered! Email her with your wishes and see what you think! Also..ck out Postcardz from Victoria..she is an American Italian who has moved to Flirence and does wonderful tours of Italy..but is stationed in Florence..she is delightful!

We took the Walks of Italy walking tour. It starts with the Academie and spends the rest of the morning walking through the heart of Florence. They limit the group to 12, there were 10 in our group. Our guide has a Masters in Art History and was very knowledgeable.
