Florence, Tuscany and the Almalfie coast need guidance

We are looking to arrive in Florence April 1, 2020. We will spend about 30 days in Italy. We have flexibility. Our goal is Florence, Tuscany region and the Amalfi Coast. Once we leave Amalfi Coast we would like to fly to Greece and
Santoreni.
Our plan at present is as follows:
Florence: Stay here 4 days and remain in tuscany to April 13
Tuscany : rent a car and travel to Lucca, Pisa, Greve Chianti,Sienna/ Pienza, San Gimingano, Voltera, Arezzo, Cotona,
Return to Florence drop car and train to Sorrento where we stay and make day trips to Naples 2 days; Pompeii 1 day; Sorrento 1 day.
Move to Capri for two nights, and then move to Almalfie Coast and spend the remainder of our time.
Questions: Balance of time to spend in various locations. What location to house ourselves in the Tuscany area and suggestions of places to stay. Once arriving to Sorrento and Almalfie Coast direction as to time frame in the areas and should we spend more time in the north of Italy verses the coast. Recommendations needed for where to stay is of great need. We have already spent much time in Rome and Venice.

Just a couple of thoughts.

  • I think Pisa and Lucca could more easily be seen by train from Florence as a day trip.

  • Siena might be a good central location to sightsee around the rest of Tuscany, with most of your towns within 1+ hrs driving time. That's a lot of towns though.

  • are you flying home from Naples? If so, if might be better to structure the southern portion of the trip so you're closer to Naples at the end. So you could go from Tuscany to Amalfi (train to Salerno) and stay there or close by. Then take the ferry to Capri. Then take the ferry to Sorrento. Providing you don't have a morning flight out of Naples, you could avoid having to spend your last night in Naples.
