We are flying into Florence Peretola airport and would like to know the easiest way to get to the Novello train station where will will board a train for Riomaggiore.
We have researched tramways (not sure if the line we need is open yet), buses and taxis.
Has anyone traveled recently that you might be able to make a suggestion

Taxi is 22€ (Or 24€ on Sunday/holidays) plus luggage (1€ per piece).
Volainbus bus is 6€ pp
The tramway line 2 is supposed to open in a month (if all planets align)
Check also the trains from FIRENZE RIFREDI station using www.trenitalia.com (enter Firenze RIFREDI as departure station). Many trains headed to the coast also stop at RIFREDI after departing from Santa Maria Novella. RIFREDI is closer to the airport and a taxi can get you there in 10 min.

Corrected the taxi flat fares. I forgot they increased a year or two ago.
If there are more than 3 pax the taxi applies an extra charge for each pax over 3 (I think 1€ extra).
