I'm making train reservations at the raileurope website to go from Florence to Rome. There seem to be 3 train stations - the main one is SMN, but how close are the other two - Campo Di and Rifredi?

Santa Maria Novella is right in the city. Rifredi is about 3 miles NW of the city. And Campo di Marte is about 2 miles NE of the city.
Never been to either, except by passing them on the train... Some trains don't even stop there.
If you're staying in the city, SMN is definitely the way to go.
