Florence Train Station Lockers?

We are dropping a rental car off at the Airport, and catching the train to Venice. We were hoping to see some of Florence's sights before jumping on the train but we will have our carry-on luggage with us. If we take a taxi from the airport to the train station, does the train station have lockers we could drop the luggage into, or would it be better to just head to Venice since we are already at the station? Thanks.

I should have done a little more research before posting. I have now discovered that the Florence train station has a baggage deposit area for 4 euros per bag. So we will leave them there, go to the museums, and then catch the train to Venice. Easy smeasy.
