We want to take a one day tour to the Tuscany area. We don't know if we should rent a car for the day or take a tour for the day. I would love insight on what tours were the best. What Tuscany cities are a must to see?

For sure it's got to be wonderful Siena.
You çan go by bus, but please check as I always have a car, so I don't know where and how

Siena or Lucca are great day trips from Florence to do on your own without a car. If you want to visit 2 or more Tuscan hill towns without a car it's best done by tour. I don't personally have any recommendations for particular tours but I'm sure you'll get some suggestions.
