Florence tour of David and Duomo climb

Are you looking for a day tour to Florence that starts from another city (which city?)

From Rome. We have train tickets already.

You don't need a tour. From the SMN train station it's less than a 20 min walk to the Accademia. You will want advance purchase tickets. From the Accademia it's a 6 minute walk to the Duomo. Again, you need an advance purchase timed ticket

Also, the terraces are only available via tour. Would you pay and extra $400 total for that piece? Is that basically walking through or you can stop and enjoy the view and take photos?

Any advance ticket is a "skip the line" ticket. It just means you skip the line at the site to purchase a ticket. There will always be a security line.

We are doing the Best of Europe 14 tour and have the duomo and bell tower booked for the suggested time in our pre tour itinerary, will we have time to visit the accademia to view the David also? The pre tour itinerary says what time to book our free time activity but not how long we will have. Also I’m not sure if by buying a timed ticket (end of May) we will have a wait to in a line to climb the duomo/bell tower or if it will be easy to enter at the time slot we booked.

Do visit the Duomo Museum though.
No need for a tour of any of these places.
