Florence tour

Looking for a private tour for 6 going to San Gimignano, Pisa, and Sienna for the day. Stopping for lunch and possibly dinner at a winery.

Any ideas of who does one of these tours besides the large bus companies?

'Walks of Italy' does a day trip to Siena, San Gimignano, and Chianti - Pisa would be easy enough to tackle on your own by train.

In 2011, we used Florencetour for a full day trip to for our group of 4 to San Gimignano, Volterra, Montegiggione, and Siena. It is a husband and wife operation (Giuseppe and Paola Migliorini). Guiseppe picked us up at our hotel in Florence in a mini-van, took us to each town, and we explored on our own. When we arrived at each town, we set a time to meet to depart to the next town. Since I had tour books and had done some research, we felt that we didn't need to be guided in each town. If you wanted a guided tour, they could surely accommodate you. Write to Paola for a quote; she responded to my email very quickly. They were also mentioned in the RS Italy book.

We booked with a local tour guide to take us (my wife and I) from Florence out into Chianti, winery tours and tasting at 2 different wineries, lunch in the tuscan countryside and then drive us back to our flat in Florence. Sightseeing stops along the way, lunch is included - full day.

All private. PM me if you would like her name and email and price details.
