Has anyone done this trip by train? We have a week to take this tour. We of course want to see the major art in Florence, visit Carrara and Pisa, the CT, and end in Ventimiglia. Thank you.

It's no big deal by train. Ventimiglia is on the main train route from Genoa to Nice, France. From the CT, take the train to Genoa and transfer to another train that will stop in Ventimiglia.
