i have a Venice tour booked on 5/25/2011 at 11 am, WHAT Time do have to leave Florence to be at waters edge at st.marks square at entrance of Royal Gardens? One of my final details for our trip.

Hi Yvonne, If you go to the following link on the Trenitalia website, you will see that you will need to get the 7 a.m. train in my opinion in order to leave enough time to get to the Gardens in Venice. Once you arrive at the Venezia Santa Lucia train station, you could either walk or take a vaporetto to the Gardens. I'm not sure how often the vaporetto leaves, but you should be able to find a schedule online. Walking would take a good half hour at least at a fairly brisk pace. buon viaggio!
