Hi! Staying in Florence a few days in May then going to Poggio San Marcos for a few days. We were going to take the train from Fl to Sienna and rent a car for Tuscany time. Hearing now that it's a lovely drive from Florence. Any thoughts? Where would it be easy in or just outside Florence to rent a car and avoid traffic?

We have rented cars as we were leaving Florence from the location on Borgo Ognisanti.That is the best location we have found for ease of exiting the city.
In Siena, we park up at the top of the hill, on the right side.
