Florence to Praiano in High Season

Hello, I have searched the forum, but a lot of queries are quite old.

My family of 4 will be traveling next summer from Florence to Praiano. I plan on taking the train from Florence to Salerno, but am not sure what the best method is from Salerno to Praiano. If we chose the Ferry, do we have to pre book? Then what is the best option from there? Land in Amalfi and take the bus, or land in Positano and take the bus? Or should we just take the bus from Salerno directly to Praiano. Any details of such would be welcome.

All advice is much appreciated.

I don't think the ferry stops in Praiano but you can easily take the bus from Salerno to Praiano. There may be a bus change in Amalfi for Praiano.

Have you checked Rome2rio.com for different means of transportation? It's got links to schedules and tickets, but you don't need to buy ahead of time.
