I will start the Village Italy Tour April 28 but will be in Florence for a few days prior. What is best and reasonable means of transportation from Florence to Padua?

Direct train from Florence to Padua takes 1 hour 45 minutes. Super economy fare is €23.90. Easy trip.

Good idea to book 3 months in advance if you're sure of your train departure time in order to get the Super Economy fare as there are a limited number of seats at that price. This doesn't apply to Regional trains.
