We need to get from Florence to Innsbruck in one day and want the most scenic train route. Anybody have suggestions?

Verona is one of the stops and that is where the scenery starts.

There is really only one route, but it is scenic once you get to Verona.

You will pass through Verona, but not necessarily change trains there. The fastest routes have a single train change in Bologna, and they go twice a day, at 11:00 and 15:00 from Florence. See the schedule easily at www.bahn.com. Buy tickets and view schedules at http://www.trenitalia.com/tcom-en
