I am flying out of FCO at 11:10 am on Friday morning. The flight is to Stockholm, I have a long layover than Stockholm to the US.
Since I'm not flying direct from FCO to the US, how early should I arrive at the airport?
I was hoping to spend my last day and night in Italy in Florence. I was planning to take the first fast train from Florence to Rome Termini and then the Leonardo Express to FCO. Is this doable? The first fast train gets to Termini around 835. I think there is a Leonardo Express around 8:50, so I would get to FCO around 9:25 or so. Is that cutting it too close?
I already booked my last night in Florence but don't want to miss my flight. I would be willing to take a private car and leave Florence earlier but was quoted between 500-600 Euros for that trip. Does anyone know of a cheaper car service? And is the train definitely not an option?
This is my honeymoon and I am willing to splurge a little. Also, we are young and willing to hustle to make a train if that's possible.
