Florence to FCO for 11:10 am flight

I have a flight on Friday at 11:10 am, from FCO to Stockholm, and then from Stockholm back to the US. I was planning to visit Florence for one day before I leave Italy, arriving in Florence early on Thursday morning and then staying the night and leaving early Friday for my flight out of FCO.

How early do I need to be at FCO for the flight (on Norwegian) to Stockholm? The earliest train from Florence to Rome leaves Florence at 6:50 and gets to Rome Termini at 8:35. I think the Leonardo Express leaves somewhere around 8:50, which means we would get to FCO at 9:25 or so. Is that cutting it too close? I have read that direct flights to the US you should arrive three hours early. Do I need that much time for a flight to Stockholm?

I already booked my last night in Florence and would rather not cancel as I don't think I get my money back. I would be willing to take a private car in the morning from Florence to the airport but the prices I have been quoted so far are really expensive (500-600 euros). Is there another alternative? This is my honeymoon so I'm willing to splurge but that just seemed really pricey and I want to make sure the train isn't an option first.

I should mention that we are young and willing to hustle in a rush and live in New York City so are comfortable with public transportation.

Any suggestions or guidance is greatly appreciated.
