Hello!
We would appreciate some help on best way to get from Florence to Citta di Castello.
We have a morning tour scheduled in Citta di Castello but just realized taking a train from Florence will take 5+ hours each way.
We are now considering:
1- Train from Florence to Arezzo and then a bus from Arezzo to Citta di Castello. Haven't located local bus schedule yet out of Arezzo so not sure the time will work. Still researching.
2 - Train from Florence to Arezzo and then taking a taxi/Uber to Citta di Castello.
3 - Renting a car for the day and driving from Florence to Citta di Castello. How are the roads to Citta di Castello? Hoping GPS will work on phones.
4 - Hiring a driver from Florence to Citta di Castello. This is the most $ so not our first choice.
We would appreciate any and all suggestions!

Renting a car is your best bet. I don’t know when your tour starts in the morning, but the drive alone is a couple of hours.
With public transportation you’d probably have to leave Florence the day before to make it there by morning.
