Four of us will be in Florence on April 13, 2018. I have been reading about the pros and cons about the Ferinze Card and individual tickets to the museums.
Where and when is the best place to buy "Skip the Line" tickets to the Accademia and the Uffizi Galleries? Do you really go right into the museum with your ticket and can you buy an audio in English at both? Or would it be better to get a Firenze Card? With the Firenze Card, can you skip the line, also?
This is a wee bit mind boggling right now.

There is still a bit of a line but yes, you skip the very long line of people waiting to get a ticket, both with the Firenze card or with advanced-purchase tickets. The benefits of the Firenze card are what it covers for the cost, so you need to calculate what you want to see, how much the tickets will cost, and then how much the card costs, and decide which is more financially sensible
If you want to buy tickets, google the Academia, or the Duomo. These have websites that offer online purchase...
