Florence Taxi cost from SMN to Oltrarno Apartment

I am thinking that I may take a taxi from SMN train station to my studio apartment just across Ponte Vecchio at Vicolo del Canneto 2. I'd appreciate any info on calculating the taxi fare for that. Also if I end up having to stop en route to pick up the key from Via Dante Aligheri, 12, is there a way I can estimate that taxi fare?

Although taxis in Florence aren't cheap, however in this case the cost isn't significant since the distance is really small. From the station to via del canneto is probably 1.5km, basically 20 min walk. I can't calculate the exact itinerary the taxi will take because I can't predict what the City planning department will dream up this year. Every time I drive inside the ZTL with my cousin's car (she's got ZTL resident permit) I get lost because they changed all the one ways around from one year to the next (I think they use a monkey throwing darts on a map to decide which streets to change traffic direction every week) But no matter what it won't be over 2 km (taxis are allowed to drive within the ZTL). The "Flag Drop" initial charge is 3.30E (weekdays) 5.30E (sunday or holidays) 6.60E (night). To that you need to add the taximeter charge (0.91E/Km to 1.64E/Km, assuming no wait in traffic). The charge for the luggage is 1E a piece. So assuming 1 pc of luggage, daily arrival on a weekday, it could be about than 6-8 euro. If you arrive at night, it might be 3.3 euro more. Even if he takes you all the way around the Viali (with a dishonest taxi) it might add 4 km to the trip. Less than 4 euro more. With a stop along the way I don't know how that would work. Maybe he'll just charge for each minute he waits (50 cents every minute), or maybe he'll have to charge you as two separate trips. No matter what, I'm sure you'll pay much more for lunch.
