We are 5 persons including two children aged 6 and 11. Have gone through number of websites and an online booking of a taxi costs about 60 euros and the taxi at the airport costs 22 euros plus 1 euro for the luggage. We will be having 4 large luggage. Are the taxis available at the airport only sedans or bigger taxis are available?

At Italian airports, we go to a taxi stand. The person at the taxi stand sees how many people you have and how much luggage - then directs you to an appropriately sized taxi. I don't prebook taxis. Taxis can be very small to large vans and SUVs. Don't sweat this one. Just have cash to pay the driver.
I agree w sun- baked, we (4 women w plently of luggage ) got a taxi at the stand & he took us straight to our hotel
