Hi,
Do most of the shops in Florence (around the Via dei Tornabuoni area) close on Sunday? Are they all closed at 7pm on the weekdays (Mon-Saturday) and closed early on Sunday?
Anyone knows if the outlet-The Mall open on Sunday? And What's best transportation to there?

Hey, Jenny. My recollection is that some shops close on Sunday, but others are open, almost certainly with shorter hours than during the weekday. The actual closing time of stores probably varies by season. Sure seemd when we were in Firenze in the summer more stores were open later--past seven, even--than when we were there in the winter. Regarding the variety of outlet malls that surround Florence...most can be reached via public transport by taking a brief train ride, followed by a brief taxi from the station to the mall. Hi has anyone been to outlet-The Mall in Florence? I heard most of the taxi drivers don't want to drive the short distance from the station to the mall and the Sita bus leaves the mall at 5pm. Just wondering what are the other alternative ways to get to The-Mall from the train station? Is it a long walk from the station? and is it safe? Thanks!
