Me and my wife will be arriving in Florence on May 11th and plan on doing the Duomo, Uffizi, and Accademia on the 12th. We are going to book our tickets this weekend, and wanted to see what would be the best website to get these through? And what tickets are best to reduce our waiting in line time? We will have 3 days for sight seeing in Florence. Thanks everyone! You guys are always very informative!
First - you have planned for a very busy day!
This is the official site for tickets to the Uffizi and Accademia
www.b-ticket.com/b-ticket/uffizi/default.aspx - if it comes up in Italian scroll down to the bottom of the page and there is an English button
This is the site for Duomo tickets - one ticket for all - church, belltower, baptistry and museo- you will need to book a timed reservation if you want to climb the dome and or the tower.

Thank you! It will be an extremely busy day for sure. What order would you do these in? Also, there are three options for tickets: full, reduced and free, what is the difference?
I would definitely do the Uffizi first - early - I have found that the 8:15 is best - busy getting in but the large tour groups have not arrived yet so once inside the crowd spreads out quickly. Even getting in before 9 is okay. The Duomo timing would depend on whether you are booking bell tower or dome climbs. When you know those times you could book the Accademia. The Accademia is busy with groups but nothing like the Uffizi - and many people do not proceed past the David - but if you have time the other galleries are well worth it.
The different prices refer to ticket prices for citizens of the EU - you pay full price.
Free tickets are for children under a certain age, reduced tickets are restricted in some way (over 65 and EU citizen); you will pay full price
If you have three days for Florence, you really should spread out these sights among your days. Otherwise, by the time you hit your third of the day, you'll be exhausted and won't be in any shape to appreciate it. At least, that would be the case for me.
