My husband would really like to visit Santo Spirito during our short stay in Venice. Since we've only got about 48 hours, I tryign to schedule things acrefully, but I'm havign trouble with the opening hours/days for Santo Spirito. Basically, Frommers and Fodor's give completely opposite information! Fodor's says the church itself is open only during mass and the refectory is open Teus - Sat 9-2. Frommer's mentions nothing of the church being closed ot the public, no admission charges, and says it's open every day from 8 - noon then Thurs - Tues from 4-6.
Does anybody that has actually been to Florence recently have a clue which one (if either) is correct??? If not, anybody know who I could contact for some reliable info?
Sorry, I don't have a Rick Steve's Italy available to check what he says of hours and days.
