I had planned on taking the florence-rome train, as before, but I saw that at viator.com (used before), I could book a florence-rome transfer on shuttle bus for $67 (just a bit more than the train). Any reason to pick via motorway and shuttle bus vs. train for family of 6--we have no issues with luggage, etc., just wondering if the sights would be better?

I'd still choose the train, especially with a family of six. Although it's not a long trip, there's somewhat more room to move around and no issues with traffic.
