Florence-reservations for the Duomo dome?

I know from "RS Italy" that it isn't possible to make reservations to climb the Duomo dome, but is it possible to make a reservation for the "Terraces of the Cathedral and Dome Tour? If so, how does one go about that and how long does the tour take?
