Florence reservations?

We will be in Florence the end of May. We already have reservations for the Uffizzi, the Academia and the Giotto Pass for the Duomo area. How necessary will it be to get tickets or times ahead of time for the Medici Chapels, Bargello, Palazzo Vecchio? Are those easier to just walk in? Last time I was there was 20 yrs ago in November and there was no one there. I am assuming that is not so anymore!
Thanks for any suggestions.

I can only speak to the Bargello. When we were in Florence last October, we walked to the Bargello after our visit to the Uffizi and bought tickets on-site. There were maybe 10 people total in line.

Hi Judy-
How did you get tickets to the Uffizzi and the Academia? Rick mentions a museum pass for florence but trying to identify that has been a challenge. I know timed entry or skip the line is a requirement. Did you piecemeal or figure out some combo pass?

Thanks Steve

sjebens, as kindly mentioned in one of your previous posts, it's best to start your own threads versus hijack someone else's. When you start the new thread, please tell us when and how long you'll be in Florence, how many of you in your traveling group and approx, ages, and a list of attractions you wish to see. A more complete picture could make a difference! :O)
(Sorry for the sidetrack, Judy)

I purchased Uffizzi (combo ticket with Pitti Palace and Boboli gardens) online and then only had a really short line to pickup a ticket once I arrived. I was there in early May last year. Not what the typical lines are like if you come and buy in person. Good luck. Cheers.

Dear Steve
I googled Duomo Firenze and got to the Giotto Pass tickets. my daughter did the Uffizzi for her husband, so I don't know what she used for that. and I think I googled The Academia Florence to get those tickets. We both have Rick's Sicily book, so I might have used whatever website he lists. I don't remember. But neither on of them was difficult. The Florence pass was not going to work for me - we were not going to use enough sites to make it worthwhie. It is a beautiful city. Have a great trip
