We will be visiting Italy in September 19-29. After a few days in Rome, we will train to Florence for a 2 night/ 3day stay before traveling onward. My question is for our Florence itinerary. We will arrive in Florence around 1:30pm, check in to our hotel, walk the city, and climb the Duomo that evening for sunset views. The following day we plan to visit the Accademia and Uffizi. My question is: What is the best way to do tickets for these? I've heard of passes that cover several places, timed entry tickets, and individual tickets. Also where is the best place top purchase (online, tour company sites, direct with venues?). I'm hoping to do this the smartest way possible. Advice is appreciated!
