My wife & I will be in Florence for 30-days. It makes sense for us to purchase Passepartout Family Annual for unlimited access to Uffizi, Pitti Palace, and Boboli Gardens. My question is whether there is advantage to pre-purchasing annual pass online, or whether just to purchase in person? In following online steps to purchase, it appears I will still need to visit ticket office to pick up my annual pass.
I'd appreciate advice from RS travelers who have purchased Passepartout Family Annual pass.

Just fyi, I was able to answer my own question for this post. Online purchase of Passepartout Family Annual pass provides pdf with bar code for entrance. Nice, we can skip ticket office and proceed directly to priority entrances of the three covered sites! Link below to online ticket resource:
