Hi! My sister and I will need a taxi in Florence around 4am to get to the airport . Taxi seems to be the only transportation option that time of night.
Apps like FreeNow, etc. are not always guaranteed the ride will be accepted that time of night. Is there a 24 hour taxi website I can research? My airbnb host may be able to help get a taxi but I'd like to find reliable options ahead of time.

The Florence airport lists rates and supplemental charges and has phone numbers to call for taxis.

There are two main well established taxi dispatch cooperative companies in Florence. Below are their respective numbers and websites.
You can call them at the numbers below (English speaking operator is available). Or you can use their website to summon one. They will be at your door within 5 min on average.

They use also their apps called App Taxi and Taxi Move respectively (they don't use Free Now or ItTaxi anymore), but I had a hard time registering my US based phone last month (never received the confirmation text), so I gave up and just called.
It's really easy, you don't need a 24 hour concierge to call a taxi in Florence. You can select the English speaking phone operator or you can use the English version of the website to summon one on line.
