I would love suggestions on where to eat on New Year's Eve in Florence. I found this link http://en.firenzenotte.it/articles/new-years-eve-florence/ but most of the restaurants on there don't seem to have good reviews. If someone has been in the last couple of years I'd like to hear about your experience.

When we were there two years ago we went to Buca Mario (steakhouse). Pricey but fun. You'll need reservations wherever you go. I'd try to make them now.
FYI, the Piazza Signora is very active on New Years Eve. It looked likea war zone on the morning ofNew Years day.

The Florentine, Florence's English language newspaper, ran an article on places to eat for New Years Eve 2017. Go to theflorentine.net, find the Food+Wine section and scroll down to locate the article. All of the restaurants listed are nice and should have good reviews, and prices range from moderate to very expensive. The estimated amount per person is noted in the article. Note that the Mercato Centrale food court does have one restaurant with a separate dining area (Tosca), but it woud be more casual than the others.
