Florence Museums w/kids under 18 - Firenze Card?

Hi we are traveling with our 3 kids, two 15 year olds and an 18 yo. I'm comparing costs to see if the Firenze Card is worth it.
From what I understand, I'll only need to purchase 3 Firenze Cards for us total $255 Euros

We plan on visiting the following: (these amounts are totals for the 5 of us, which includes free or reduced entry for kids)
Galleria del Academia - 56E
Uffizi Gallery - 80E
Duomo Museum/Duomo & Bell Tower - 70E
Museo del Cappelle Medecci - 39E
Galileo Museum - 34E
Dante Museum - 16E
The total of purchasing tickets individually is 295 Euros versus 255 Euros.

In this case, purchasing the Firenze Card makes sense. Do I have my facts right?

Thank you for your help!

That's a number of facts, many of which appear correct. But in spot checking costs, how do you get the Duomo price, for instance?

At https://www.museumflorence.com/, I'm seeing 18E, +2E for online booking, times 5 people, since the discounted child rates are 3E for ages 6 - 11 and only under 6 free. So that could add up to 90E in person or 100E online. But if you were buying just 3 Firenze cards, then you'd still be buying tickets for the two younger kids at this location and have not added that to your cost of using Firenze cards.

Also, with the Firenze Card, it's not possible to book the Duomo dome climb online - only in person, which may be too late. And you've probably read that the Academia and Uffizi now require reservations in order to get priority access with the Firenze Card, but those reservations are free. https://www.ricksteves.com/europe/italy/guidebook-updates is one source where we try to track the multiple updates happening lately.

You are correct Laura, my Duomo cost was off. Way off. I am thinking that even though buying individual tickets may be more than the Firenze card, the convenience factor may outweigh the cost and we may not even visit the Museo del Cappelle Medecci.

Thank you for the run down, that is exactly what I needed! Also thanks for the link to the RS updates.
