Florence Museums: Accedemia & Uffizi

I am purchasing tickets in advance for the Accedemia & Uffizi museums at the link provided. 2 Questions:
1) They have listed multiple ticket prices and I cannot find the difference. What is the difference between the ticket types of Free, Reduced and Full?
2) I realize we have to choose a time to enter, but is there a limited time allowed in the museum(s)?

Disabled and the person’s carer also receive free tickets even if not an EU resident.

Agreed with David. Foreign visitors fall into the full-price ticket range. And as David said, no time limit.

Your visit at the Accademia will be short since the primary focus is to see Michelangelo's David. Be sure to check out Michelangelo's Unfinished Saints (in the hall leading to the David). Gorgeous and packed with emotion in their own right.

Give yourself a minimum of 3 hours for the Uffizi. It's huge, and you'll need a stop here and there to digest the sensory overload. Save mental bandwidth for the newly opened Caravaggio rooms that are on the 1st floor (2nd in the US) toward the end of the path you take around the museum (you can't miss their deep red walls). Some of my favorite paintings are in that space.

One final note... If you will be in Florence 3 days or more, consider getting the Firenze Card. You can walk in at any time to Accademia, Uffizi, and Palazzo Pitti with the Firenze Card - no timed entry required.

Happy planning!

I was confused by this at first too. One of the museums had an explanation but, it took a while for me to find it. Free tickets are for children under the age of 18 and I think reduced tickets are for EU citizens ages 18-24.
