I've spent a fair amount of time trying to make Uffizi reservations through their website. Should I just give up? And if so, who do you recommend? First I couldn't get tickets to appear in the basket (even though they were deducted from total tickets available). When I finally got tickets in the basket... I registered twice with different e-mail addresses, but it doesn't seem to recognize either of those attempts. Really frustrating!
Are you staying at a hotel? If so, just email them and have them make the reservations for you. It's that simple.
I'm staying at a convent where no one speaks English, so I need to figure this out.
I usually join Amici degli Uffizi, so I don't have to hassle with reservations. But this is such a short trip, I don't want to spend the 60E for membership.
Are you using that B-Ticket web site? If so, I used it recently with no problems. Maybe try using a different browser? I ordinarily use Firefox, but lately have sometimes had to switch over to Chrome because of issues with Firefox on a few web sites. Otherwise, look on their site to see if there is the possibility of faxing a request, or calling in a request in English.
