I called the number in my Rick Steves guidebook to make reservations for Uffizi and Accademia in Florence. I received 5 digit confirmation codes when Rick's book says it is a 6 digit code. Did this happen to anyone else?

I got the same thing just now. I asked the operator if it only needed to be 5 digits and she said yes. I have the same worries though!

Well I am glad you got the same thing! Hopefully they work when we get to the museums because I definitely do not want to wait in a big line!!

I also received a 5 digit code and was concerned. This helps to hear that others received the same. The last thing you want to do is call ahead and have to wait in line anyway! Thanks for the info!

I'll be in Florence in May, and my hotel made all the reservations for me. All were 5 digit numbers withthe exception of the Galleria dell'Accademia, which was 6 digits. Weird, no?

No info on whether it needs to be five- or six-digit number, but if that is indeed an error in the guidebook, would one of you guys be willing to email ETBD in order for the correction to be made, if need be. I think if you go under the guidebook section and click on the respective guidebook, there is a link to sumbit corrections. If all of you guys got the same five-digit code, then I would think you are fine. Thanks and enjoy.
