I'm trying to find the hours of this museum. Their website is in Italian, and I can't find their hours. Some websites say they are open late one day, but that was wrong when I was there last October. I'll be in Florence in June. Does anyone know what their current open hours are? Thanks.
Their website is at
http://www.opificiodellepietredure.it/index.php?it/16/notizie-utili-e-orario-dapertura I used Google Translate because I don't want to type it all but I have translated it myself and sense checked it so it looks OK. From their website: Opening Hours The Opificio delle Pietre Dure Museum is open from Monday to Saturday, 8.15 - 14.00; The ticket office and bookshop are open to the public between 8.15 am and close at 13.30 Sundays and holidays the museum is closed. The museum also will be closed on 24 June, the feast of the patron saint of Florence There is a special announcement for this weekend: The museum Opificio adheres to the Museum Night scheduled for Saturday, May 19, with hours 18-24 (admission is free). - = - What I didn't see anywhere on the website was the cost of entry. It does encourage the Florence Card so it sounds like they do charge. I know the RS book discusses it but my book isn't to hand at the moment. The Museum Night opening this week will be free, but I don't expect that that holds for other openings.
