Florence: Multiple Museum Ticket Purchases

Is there a link for purchasing a day pass to multiple museum tickets in Florence? And, if so, is the savings worthwhile? I'm looking for entrance tickets for specific days and times, not tours.

Is this what you're looking for?

Read the FAQs regarding use of the pass and the couple of museums, like the Uffizi, you must make advance, timed-entry reservations for, even if using the pass. Whether it's an economical option for you or not depends on the math: the sum of the cost of individual tickets for the museums you plan to see versus the cost of the pass.

Be aware that it doesn't cover the buildings in the duomo complex, such as the baptistry or duomo museum. This is the website for those attractions:

Editing to add: I see on another of your posts that you only have 2.5 days in Florence? Hopefully that .5 day isn't arrival day on a transatlantic flight? As well, if one of those 2.5 days is a Monday then you'll find the Uffizi, Accademia, Palazzo Pitti and Palazzo Davanzati closed. Depending on which Monday of the month it is, the Bargello and San Marco May be closed as well. Others are closed on alternate Sundays.

Considerate of you...Florence is the last leg of our week in Italy. We're there from Wednesday afternoon till Saturday morning. We're on the verge of securing all our museum tickets by the end of this month --- if not sooner. Currently, we're fine-tuning our plans regarding entrance times and such.

Ah, maybe this will be useful? It's the ticket ordering site for many of Florence's museums, and if you click the name of each museum (the blue text under the picture, such as "MUSEO DEL BARGELLO") it brings up a box with more information, including open hours and closure days. Even if going with the pass, it's an easy reference point for that sort of stuff. :O)

The visiting info for the duomo complex will be in the link I'd given you for that one.

PS: if not going with the pass, do take a look at a couple of the tickets for museums groups, such as the "CUMULATIVE BARGELLO" ticket? That one is new:
"A combined ticket costing only € 21.00 (instead of € 34.00) allows the holder to visit the Museo del Bargello, Cappelle Medicee, Palazzo Davanzati, Orsanmichele, Casa Martelli enjoying priority admission to all the museums in the circuit."

I believe you need to reserve a day and entry time for the Bargello when purchasing this one. There is a UFFIZI 5-DAY PASS as well that includes the Uffizi, Pitti, Boboli Gardens, Archeological Museum and Museo dell'Opificio delle Pietre Dure. You have to reserve an entry day and time slot for the Uffizi when you purchase it. Lots to see and yes, with just 2.5 days you'll need to be selective!

Kathy, thanks for posting the info and links. I am also in the midst of trying to decide which passes to purchase and what times to reserve. I hadn't seen the Firenze card info before. When I went to the link you provided it looks like that car is 85euro.
The 5 day passaporte, starting with timed Uffizi entry is 38 euro, Galleria dell'Accademia is 16 euro and the duomo museums pass with timed Dome climb is 30 euro. That's only 84 euro total. Is there something I'm missing about the advantage of the Firenze card? It seems like you only get 72 hours to use it, but you still have to make reservations correct? It does look like the Firenze card covers more museums (Bargello? ) but 72 hours isn't much time.... I have a feeling I'm missing something about the Firenze card. We'll be in Florence in mid March for 7 nights, 6 full days of possible museum tours, although we know that would be way overload. We're hoping to plan a couple of day trips during that time.

For the OP it does seem like 72 hours isn't enough time to get your money's worth unless the museums you want to go to are all covered by the Firenze card, but not by any other combination.

You've missed the free, 48-hour restart that you can add to the card once it expires, That extends the validity to 120 hours. See the website:
https://www.firenzecard.it/en

As well, if you, for example, make your first museum visit at noon on a Tuesday, your card will not expire until noon on Friday, so that original 72 hours can stretch across 2 full days and parts of two more. Add the restart? That's tons of time to cover ground.

Very few attractions require advance reservations if using the card. See this list:
https://www.firenzecard.it/en/musei

Yes, you're missing the additional museums that pass covers, many of them well worth visiting: Bargello, San Marco, Santa Maria Novella, Cappelle Medicee, Palazzo Vecchio, Santa Croce, Museo Galileo, etc. etc. Understand the people who only spend a couple of hours or less in a single museum can usually do several of them in one day. You mentioned the dome climb? While the Firenzecard doesn't cover anything at the duomo complex, not all visitors are interested in the dome climb (I was one of those). so are fine with the 15.00 EUR Ghiberti Pass versus the 30.00 EUR Brunelleschi Pass.

But i'll repeat what I said above:

"Whether it's (Firenzecard) an economical option for you or not depends on the math: the sum of the cost of individual tickets for the museums you plan to see versus the cost of the pass".

So, if you only intend to see the attractions you've listed - and considering that the duomo complex isn't covered - it's not a good buy. Plan to see more or a different combo with different pricing? Different deal.
