Florence, Italy - apartment lodging for family

Planning to stay 3 nights in Florence next year in mid-April and looking for recommendations as to apartments to rent for a family of 4 (2 adults + boy 11, girl 10). Ideal bed situation would be 2+1+1 but could go 2+2 if necessary. As for locations in Florence, was considering areas near Ponte Vecchio and Oltrarno.

Will check RoomOrama, HomeAway and VRBO but open to other sites and suggestions if anyone can recommend actual apartments.

I've stayed here twice: VRBO 68776 Florence, Santa Croce neighborhood. Queen bed in the front,
ensuite bathroom, second bedroom beautiful twin beds. Another bathroom w/shower. There's also a little "alcove with a day bed if the kids don't want to share a room. Nice kitchen. A fantastic lunch place across the street open only from 11am - 2:30. Both times it was two couples, first floor, little garden, and every one loved it. Lunch place is Salumeria Vini & Trattori i Fratellini. Via Ghibbellina 27. Seriously, go at 11 am and you're good till dinner. Maybe the best food we had in Florence. Hot foods different every day and also panini, eaten at the indoor picnic tables.
