Am looking for comments from those who may have attended the Italian Concert in Santa Monaca Church. For instance, Is it safe to walk to and from the concert at 21:00 to 22:00 from the Pontevecchio Relais hotel? Is Uber or taxi a better way to go for distance and safety?

It is quite safe to walk around central Florence in the evening, as there are hundreds of people all doing the same thing.
I’m usually there solo, and walk around in the evenings with no problem.
It’s so pretty when all the buildings are lit up, especially along the river.
It’s a 12 minute walk.

Pretty sure that the only Uber available is the limo service that uses certified drivers. That isn't in every city either.
