Hi, I'm new in this forum. If I am asking a done to death question could you please direct me to old posts. I will be having a quick visit to Florence in my travels this year and it may only be half a day. What would you recommend me seeing as a priority?
I was thinking we would prebook to see the Michel Angelo statue, walk around the Piazza della Signoria, maybe climb the bell tower (have any asthmatics here climbed it?), see the Ponte Vecchio, the markets, have some pizza on the go.
What do you think?
Google "Florence what to see" and you will come up with the same stuff you are going hear about but with pictures e.g.

Oh and go with what you already got since you say you only have half day. One thing to see indoors is enough for a half day.
I have asthma and have climbed all kinds of towers all over; as long as you take whatever medication to prevent attacks then you will have no problem.
