As part of our 4 day florence stay in October....we have provisionally booked at 3 hotels.....
1. Hotel paris
2. Hotel Cantoria
3. Hotel Balcony
Anyone on this forum with any experience with any of these hotels ?

I suggest that you look at each of these hotels on tripadvisor.com. There are reviews by previous guests, their photos, honest opinions. You can click on a map when you are reading about the hotel to see where it is located in relation to transportation, restaurants, etc. I have found really good info posted by previous guests for hotels all over the world.

I am sorry, I haven't been to any of those. I am also going to Florence in October & chose Hotel Duomo. I chose it by looking at this:

It breaks down each area & I also looked at reviews on booking.com
So based on booking:
1. Hotel Paris Tornabuoni area. Overall 8.3/Location 10
2. Hotel Cantoria Overall 8.1 No rating for location (seems a bit away from the action if you look at the booking location map)
3. Hotel Balcony Tornabuoni are Overall 8.5/Location 9.6
