We'll be driving a rental car to Florence from Tuscany in Oct. and need a hotel for one night as we have an early flight the next morning. Would love to find a hotel that has easy (or relatively easy) parking and close to the airport. Also, I'm assuming we can
take the rental back to the airport. Thanks for any suggestions.

I know that the rental,car offices at the airport open at 8:30am, although I presume you can drop off the car earlier and leave the key in some drop box. The rental,car center at Florence airport is off site amd not exactly walking distance therefore I hope the shuttle operates before 8:30am. I don’t know because I always return the car the day before and get a taxi from a hotel where I decide to stay. I don’t stay near the airport because the city center is very close to the airport. But if you insist in an a hotel with parking near the airport I recommend the Hilton garden inn
