Looking for a quad for 2 nights late May. Traveling with wife and daughters 18 & 19. I have Rick's book but would like some recommendations.

We really like Hotel La Scaletta. We stayed in a nice quad there summer 2007. The desk staff were very helpful, and the roof top terrace is lovely.

Scott I have never stayed here before but have a quad reserved for mid May at Il Villino. It is highly rated by RS fans & is in his Florence book. www.ilvillino.it You can read recs on the Graffiti Wall under heroic B&B's.

Another vote for Il Villino, http://www.residenzailvillino.com. Rick recommends it as well.

My husband and I will also be in Florence mid-May. We're staying at an apartment, booked through www.BBPlanet.com. The name of our apartment is Holiday Apartment Enrica I. It was two bedrooms and two baths and will sleep 4. I've found the price to be much better than a hotel, plus you have two baths and a little extra privacy. Not to mention all the extra room from having a kitchen and living area. We've emailed the owner, Mery, and she is very helpful. You might want to look at this website if you haven't already. We also booked a B&B in Venice from it.
