We hope to travel to Italy this coming April staying for a couple of months. We will be departing from Florence so for our final night we would like to stay in the city center. I have found two hotels that are in a good location but wondering if anyone has stayed there. One hotel is Hotel Argentina and the other one is Hotel Cestelli. We would like our price range to be less than $140.00. We are open to other recommendation also. Thank you
Not familiar with either
They are both in good locations
I like to check reviews on Booking.com since only those who have actually stayed there can review the property
FWIW
Both get excellent reviews
I stayed here for a couple of nights a few years ago.
It looks just the same.
It's about half a block's walk from the railway station, near where you can get the Tram directly to the airport.
It was very clean and quiet.
My room was at the back, and I heard lovely church bells every morning.
No breakfast, but a tray of prepacked pastries, a kettle, teabags and coffee packets.
You'd want to go out and get a really good coffee and cornetto from a nearby bar anyway!
There's someone there to check you in, but no one on site after hours or overnite.
I would definitely stay there again; except now when I go to Florence, I rent an apartment.

It's directly across the street from the train station and a couple of minute's walk from Santa Maria Novella. It's convenient, clean, comfortable, and great location, especially if traveling by train. Very close to popular landmarks.
Back in 2010 we enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Loggiato dei Serviti.
