In mid November I plan to travel from Milan to Florence by train and get hotel for 1 night, book a tour ofFlorence and return to Milan next evening. Can you recommend a convenient and reasonable hotel and tour? I am a senior so convenience is key.

We stayed at hotel il Bargelino; easy walking distance from SMN station. We booked directly with the hotel and Carmel, originally from Boston, replied promptly to our emails; so no issues with things getting “lost in translation.” We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (Carmel and Pino were wonderful hosts) and plan to stay there again in the future.
